This explains the frontend prototype’s current behaviour. It is not the final business privacy policy.

What stays in this browser

The preview bag is saved in local browser storage, including selected concept products, options, quantities and cake messages. Bespoke design choices are kept in this tab’s session storage; its name, email and phone fields are not saved.

Cake Finder preferences and cake-studio design choices, including a cake message or special instructions, may also remain in this tab’s session storage. The Business Operations Demo uses a separate session key for isolated fictional status and product-preview changes. The selected pincode, local management catalogue, import history, recovery snapshots and audit entries also remain in this browser. These management records are not a production database or a secure audit log. Bulk enquiry contact details stay in page memory; its summary is copied or downloaded only when you choose that action. Reference image previews remain local and are not uploaded. An explicit WhatsApp follow-up link, if the owner configures one and you consent, opens WhatsApp with the enquiry text. External image hosts and hosting providers receive normal network requests; their operational logging must be covered by the final privacy disclosures. The demo account marker, any demo profile edits and a sample address are stored in this tab’s session storage. Use sample details only. Leaving the demo account clears those demo account records.

Forms and reference files

Custom, corporate, contact and checkout forms do not send their contents to a bakery or commerce service. Selected reference files are used locally for preview and are not uploaded. Checkout and enquiry contact details remain in page memory for the current flow.

Before production

The business must approve its real privacy disclosures, data practices, processors, customer rights and retention rules after the production platform is chosen. The hosting service’s access sign-in is separate from the storefront’s local demo account.
